Joe Girardi is a mere good samaritan

According to this report from ESPN.com, last night while heading home from the Yankees’ World Series celebration, skipper Joe Girardi ran across a highway to help a pedestrian in need who was in a car accident.

Obviously Girardi is just a genuine hero. Although I’m partial to Curt Schilling who once called the police on a speeder a few years back while on the phone with WEEI. Now that’s true heroism. Still, this is a nice story.  I mean I hate the Yankees with a undying passion, but at least someone in that clubhouse has a heart. ARod would’ve just kept on driving. He would have needed to get home to look at his centaur painting. Or Kate Hudson. Fuck my life.

By the way if anyone’s an accomplished artist who’s willing to paint a picture of my head on the body of a mythological beast, I’m willing to repay you with a free mention on the blog. That offer is worth its weight in gold if you ask me.
