Anybody else notice Facebook’s new suggestions?

“We fear change.”

Remember that scene in Terminator 2 when Arnold pretends to be John Connor and asks John’s mom (who’s really the T-1000) what’s wrong with Wolfie, the family dog? And then the fake mom says the dog’s fine, but it turns out that Wolfie really isn’t the dog’s name, so that’s how Arnold knows John’s foster parents are really dead?

Well I have a theory. Obviously it’s not backed up by any concrete evidence, but that’s true with everything that comes out of my mouth. I have spied a few new suggestions on my Facebook page recently, specifically ones that read something like “Make Facebook better for Person X,” or “Reconnect with him/her on Facebook.” Have you noticed these? Does anyone else think this could be Facebook’s way of whoring us out in order to get these people back on the Book?

Maybe Facebook just thinks I should get back in touch with these fine folks. Or maybe they want to use me to get a message sent to said person’s email inbox so that they’ll go back onto Facebook to check it. Subliminal messaging at its finest. Bravo Facebook.

By the way you can fan us on the Book.  Wait, did I just write this whole thing as a shameless plug? Am I working for Facebook? The plot thickens.
