Here’s the new trailer for Disney’s Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. I didn’t have a whole lot of faith in the movie when I first heard about it (I never really played too much of the video game), and I admit after seeing this… I still don’t have a whole lot of faith in the movie. But I have more than I had before.
Gyllenhaal sure does like his shiny new British accent, even though he’s supposed to be what…Persian? Obviously accuracy doesn’t matter in a Bruckheimer produced adaptation of a video game. Why would you even ask a question like that?
Still, this trailer is pretty slick. Plus Ben Kingsley’s in it, so there’s that. I might just slap down some hard earned cash for this one when it hits in May. Maybe.
