Broken Lizard’s The Slammin’ Salmon, a film that’s been sitting in development for a while a now, has finally found a distributor and will make a theatrical run starting in December, according to this report from Variety.
We’re huge BL fans here at 6NBlog, but admit that they’ve been on the decline since Super Troopers. While Beerfest has its moments and is a hit with the college kids these days, it doesn’t hold a candle to ‘Troopers. And we can all agree that Club Dread just sorta…sucked.
But I’ve read in a few places that Slammin’ Salmon is somewhat of a return to form (AICN’s Quint liked it), so I’ll be looking for this once it hits theaters. Hopefully it’s not just a limited release, but it could be given the fact that this thing has been sitting in the can for the better part of a year.
