The Yankees take a 2-1 series lead into tonight’s Game 4 of the ALCS after the Halos took it to them yesterday in Anaheim. There’s been a bunch of stuff across the web today about Mo Rivera’s supposed spitball, but I’m not one to analyze videos and photographs unless it’s of drunken store patrons doing Bernie Lomax-esque dance moves on their way to the cooler.
Anyways, there’s a legend that’s gone around about Wade Boggs’ preference for Miller Lights, specifically that the former Sox third baseman and HOF’er once drank 64 beers on a cross country flight from Boston to the west coast. Wade denies it was 64 in this interview with PTI, so our best guest is that it was 63…or maybe even more.
