Alright so last week didn’t go over so well (2-3) but don’t worry about that because I’m gonna redeem myself this week.
Chiefs +6 at Redskins
The Chiefs aren’t as bad as their 0-5 record seems as they forced Dallas into OT last week, and the Redskins just lost Pro-Bowl LT Samuels for the season so Campbell will be on the run and throwing picks like it’s his job. The Chiefs aren’t a good team, but neither are the Skins. It’s all about who’s going to suck less.
Saints -3 vs Giants
This is one is perhaps the marquee matchup of the weekend, as Eli and the G-Men head down to New Orleans to take on Drew pre=”Drew “>Brees and the Saints who are coming off a bye week. The Giants are a very strong team, but I can’t see them beating the Saints at home. Brees and that offense is just too strong.
Falcons -3.5 vs. Bears
The Bears travel to Atlanta for the Sunday night game, with the Falcons coming off of a fairly dominating performance against San Fran last week. This one could go back and forth, but after Atlanta’s performance against the Niners, I think their offense is just starting to peak.
Seahawks -3 vs. Cardinals
The Seahawks crushed the Jaguars last week at home 41-0 as Matty Hasselback looked good in his return. Getting T.J. Houshmanzadeh involved in the offense seemed to work out pretty well. The Cards screwed me last week, hopefully the Seahawks don’t let me down like Houston.
Vikings -3 vs. Ravens
The Ravens head into Minnesota to face Brett Favre and the Vikings. Baltimore has lost two straight, and the Vikings are a surprise 5-0 team, so at least we know who has momentum going into this one. The Minnesota offense is just too good right now, and the Ravens haven’t been the same team that started 3-0.
Packers -14 vs Lions
The Lions are without starting QB Matthew Stafford and standout WR Calvin Johnson, who is by far their best player. If Aaron Rogers can get the Packers offense rolling early, this one has the chance to be over by halftime.
Panthers -3 vs. Bucs
Lastly, the Bucs’ offense is AWFUL and they just traded former 4th overall pick Gainnes Adams, so they are clearly giving up on this season and hoping for the number 1 overall pick. I see the Panthers winning this game easily in Carolina.
