Fucking Brett Faveruhhh. Seriously. I couldn’t even watch all of this game, because I couldn’t take the monumental #4 ball washing by the MNF crew, which is now continuing on Sportscenter as I type. I’m sure Minnesota’s in the midst of a big ol’ sports circlejerk right now with tonight’s big win over GB and the Twins playing Detroit Tuesday, but why can’t they just broadcast this shit in the Midwest and not in the rest of the country? Can’t we have two telecasts? One for Brett Favre worshipers and one for the normal people?

I would’ve taken the threesome of Tony Kornheiser, Dennis Miller, and Jerry Glanville in the booth all night tonight if they promised to never talk about Brett’s toughness, or competitive spirit, or gunslinger mentality, or dick size, or how good his ass looks in Wrangler jeans (it is pretty nice).

Stuart Scott just asked Bernard Berrian what the funniest thing was that Brett Favre said on the sideline tonight. Trent Dilfer just called his performance magical. Ron Jaworski is rubbing cocoa butter on his nipples while the highlights are playing on screen. I don’t have proof, but just call it a hunch.

Listen, he did play his balls off. I’ll give him that. But he could’ve played like shit and this still would be all over ESPN for the next 48 hours regardlessly. He could’ve not even played and still be a topic of conversation. Guarantee if he never un-retired and came back to Minnesota there would’ve at least been a mention of “Oh, well, this could’ve been Brett Favre vs. the Packers” during the game’s highlights. What the fuck.

Looks like I’ll be turning to 6NBlog for my sports news over the next few days. At least there they talk about themselves instead of Brett Fucking Favre.
