Ala. mother puts kid on roof of van in a cardboard box

The Associated Press reported today that an Albertville, Ala. mom has been arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of her 13-year-old daughter after driving down the highway with the child in a cardboard box on top of her minivan.

Says the AP (via the Herald):

“Albertville Police spokesman Sgt. Jamie Smith said the 37-year-old woman was arrested Sunday after police received a call from an alarmed driver who reported seeing a minivan driving down a state highway with a child riding on top.

Smith said Jackie Denise Knott told police the box was too big to go inside the van, and that she told her daughter to get inside the box to hold it down.”

Well if a woman can’t put her own child on the top of her roof to hold down a cardboard box, how is she going to be able to bring it home? The box was obviously a key component to the massive fort they were building in their backyard. Thanks police officers, you just ruined her daughter’s dreams.

Not only that, but apparently they’ve never seen Teen Wolf down south. Sorry this is in Spanish, but let’s be honest, Teen Wolf transcendsĀ language barriers:
