Finally, some good news came out today for those “Arrested Development” fans who want to see the beloved FOX show make the move to the big screen. According to Russ Fischer over at Slashfilm (referring to a report by the Hollywood Reporter today), series creator Michael Hurwitz and co-executive producer James Vallely are combining to work on a screenplay for the long-rumored “Arrested Development” movie-film.
This is actually the first positive news coming from the “AD” movie camp in a few months. There have been whispers from former cast members here and there, but this is the first really positive news we’ve seen in a while. Hopefully they’ll turn out a quality script sooner rather than later so they can get the ball rolling. And hopefully the entire cast from the show will agree to do the flick (cough* cough* Cera cough* cough*).
