If I had any idea the WWE machine was stopping in at the TDBank Garden last night, I would’ve bought front row seats (how expensive can they be?). Unfortunately, I’ve been out of the wrestling loop for quite some time, so imagine my surprise when I saw this photo gallery of the “Smackdown” taping in Boston on the Globe’s webpage.

I went to taping of WCW “Nitro” when I was in like 5th grade (okay, 12th), but since then I haven’t seen a wrestling event live. But I still have to say that Killer Kowalski’s wrestling show that used to make the trip around to local area highschools were still the best I’ve experienced in my lifetime. The Killer was like 80 years old and still making the rounds, he signed one of my programs as a kid. That my friends, is how you do it. Now granted, he was probably thousands of dollars in debt, backed up on medical bills, and contractually forced to do autograph signings whether he had any say or not (a la Teddy Ballgame later in life), but he was still a consummate pro about it. A consummate, arthritic, chain smoking, Alzheimer’s ridden pro.

And if you could’ve sworn you saw Golddust in one of those pictures, you did. He’s back, apparently, although sans smoking hot wife/cheerleader Terri Runnels. Jesus Christ I need to get laid.

Kimbo fights in ten minutes. Get your shit together and crowd around Spike.
