Kimbo Slice makes his much anticipated “Ultimate Fighter” debut tonight at 10 p.m. on Spike (well, in the octagon at least), as he takes on MMA veteran Roy “Big Country” Nelson. Roy talked a bunch of shit last week, so this should at least be interesting.

My money’s on Kimbo, not because I know anything about Nelson’s skill set, but because that motherfucker thought he could take the nickname “Big Country” away from the original, Bryant Reeves. That’s like taking away somebody’s namesake. If I was Bryant Reeves right now, I’d be suing for defamation of character. I mean, he dropped 41 points on the Celtics at the FleetCenter back in January of 1998 (albeit in a loss). 41. What’s Roy Nelson ever done? We’ll see tonight I guess.
PS: The Celtics starting lineup in that game against Vancouver? Antoine, Ron Mercer, Chauncey Billups, Walter, and Andrew DeClercq. At least half of those guys are dead right now, I think.
